When Lianne La Havas was in NYC last month to celebrate the release of her debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough?, she stopped by WFUV to record an episode of Words and Music, out now. La Havas talks with WFUV's Alisa Ali about her life in music and to perform three songs off the album. Watch the performances and listen to the complete episode here. Lianne La Havas is up for the Mercury Prize this week and returns to the US next week to perform on the Late Show with David Letterman and Conan and in headline shows in the Washington, DC–area, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

London-based singer/songwriter Lianne La Havas returns to the US next month for three headlining shows: in the DC area, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. La Havas also makes her debut performance on the Late Show with David Letterman on November 8 and on Conan November 14. Nonesuch has just released an iTunes-exclusive live EP, featuring La Havas' performance at London’s iTunes Festival last month, with five songs from her set opening for Alicia Keys.

Lianne La Havas wowed the sold-out crowd at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC last night and is performs on WNYC's Soundcheck today before shows in Montreal and Los Angeles later this week. SPIN has premiered a video for her song "Age" shot by Yours Truly. London-based Lianne La Havas has arrived in North America for shows at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC and Belmont in Montreal, plus a free in-store performance at Amoeba Music in LA this week. Tonight's Bowery Ballroom concert has been named WNYC's Gig Alert and is a Critics' Pick at New York magazine, which says La Havas' "smoky ripple of a voice and her way with a guitar are beautiful things to behold, especially alone onstage, where their feathery perfection seems almost miraculous."

Nonesuch Records wishes Lianne La Havas a very happy birthday. The British singer, who turns 23 today, saw her first album, Is Your Love Big Enough?, debut at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. Today, she premieres a new video for the album track “Forget,” directed by Alex Southam and shot in early August on location in Brooklyn. Watch it here. La Havas has added a San Francisco headline show, at the Rickshaw Stop, on an off date from her fall tour supporting John Legend.

London-based singer Lianne La Havas has announced details for her first North American tour promoting her highly praised debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough?. She will join nine-time Grammy Award winner John Legend on 14 dates across the US, in addition to her previously announced September headline shows: September 11 at Bowery Ballroom in New York and September 13 at Le Belmont in Montreal. The New Yorker has described her live show as "stunning."
