k.d. lang and producer Tracy Young release “Constant Craving (Fashionably Late Remix)” on Nonesuch Records today. It's the first-ever official remix of lang’s 1993 Grammy-winning hit and follows the recent release of makeover, a new collection of classic dance remixes from the era. "When ‘Constant Craving’ was the single, my team wanted to do a remix of it, and I was feeling protective and said ‘No, I don’t want to touch it," lang recalls. "When we were putting together makeover, we realized we didn’t have a ‘Constant Craving’ remix! And that was why.” Young says: "The song continues to resonate through generations, and it speaks about the struggles of life and the resiliency of the human spirit—an inspirational message that is so needed right now." Young will debut the remix in her headlining DJ sets at Miami Pride and Orlando Pride in the coming weeks.

The 2014 Record Store Day split vinyl 7" single on which Conor Oberst and Dawes covered each other's tunes—Oberst performing Dawes' "Million Dollar Bill" and Dawes performing the Bright Eyes song "Easy/Lucky/Free"—is now available digitally to download and stream. "As far as I’m concerned, between Bright Eyes and his solo records, Conor Oberst is one of the greatest songwriters that has played the game," says Dawes' Taylor Goldsmith. "We tried our best to make 'Easy/Lucky/Free' sound like a Dawes song and Conor did the same thing to 'Million Dollar Bill.' Happy to bring these recordings back to life."

The Black Keys will release a special tenth anniversary edition of their landmark seventh studio album El Camino via Nonesuch Records on November 5. El Camino (10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) will be available in several formats including a Super Deluxe edition of five vinyl LPs—with a remastered version of the original album, a previously unreleased Live in Portland, ME concert recording, a 2012 BBC Radio 1 Zane Lowe session, a 2011 Electro-Vox session, an extensive photo book, a limited-edition poster and lithograph, and a “new car scent” air freshener—or four CDs minus the poster and air freshener. A three-LP edition, which include the remastered album and the live recording, will also be available, as well as a special fan club version of the three-LP set. Emmylou Harris and the Nash Ramblers' Ramble in Music City: The Lost Concert is out now on Nonesuch. The album features the 1990 Nashville debut of the acoustic all-star group—Sam Bush, Roy Huskey Jr., Larry Atamanuik, Al Perkins, Jon Randall Stewart—at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC). The concert was recorded and shelved until now, when it has been unearthed and will be released for the first time. The set features entirely different songs from the band's acclaimed live album At the Ryman, with music by A.P. Carter, Rodney Crowell, Ruth Franks, the Louvin Brothers, Doc Pomus, Paul Simon, Townes Van Zandt, and Harris herself. Nonesuch Records releases a two-track digital single from Sam Gendel today that includes his interpretations of Duke Ellington's "Isfahan" and Cal Massey's "My Little Suede Shoes" (a song popularized by Charlie Parker), performed in the manner of the sonic construction/destruction from his 2020 album Satin Doll. Gendel is joined by Gabe Noel on electric bass and Philippe Melanson on electronic percussion.

Randy Newman’s eight-LP box set Roll with the Punches: The Studio Albums (1979–2017), first released for Records Store Day's RSD Drop in July, is now available in limited supply in the Nonesuch Store as well. The set contains Randy Newman's latest seven studio albums—Born Again, Trouble in Paradise, Land of Dreams, Faust, Bad Love (on vinyl for the first time), Harps and Angels, and Dark Matter—on 140-gram vinyl, featuring original album jackets, lyric/credit sheets, and Faust demos. Lake Street Dive's latest album, Obviously, released this past March on Nonesuch Records, is now available on translucent yellow vinyl in the Lake Street Dive Store and the Nonesuch Store, in addition to previously released standard black vinyl, CD, and digital formats. The band goes back on tour later this month.

In the winter of 2016, Conor Oberst found himself hibernating in his hometown of Omaha after living in New York City for more than a decade. He emerged with the unexpectedly raw, unadorned solo album Ruminations. The results are almost sketch-like in their sparseness: Oberst alone with his guitar, piano, and harmonica. The Ruminations (Expanded Edition), first released on vinyl for RSD Drops earlier this year, is now available on CD and digitally as well, and includes five bonus tracks, four of which are previously unreleased. The vinyl, pressed on two 140-gram LPs, includes an exclusive etching on side D.

Let the Soil Play Its Simple Part, an album of songs written and performed by Caroline Shaw and Sō Percussion, is out now.With Shaw on vocals and Sō filling out this new band, they developed songs in the studio, with lyrics inspired by their own wide-ranging interests: James Joyce, the Sacred Harp hymnal, a poem by Anne Carson, the Bible's Book of Ruth, the American roots tune "I'll Fly Away," ABBA's "Lay All Your Love on Me," and more. To coincide with the album's release, the artists have released a video of them performing their take on the ABBA tune; you can watch it here.

k.d. lang and country artist/songwriter Orville Peck release "Miss Chatelaine (Iron Hoof Remix)" on Nonesuch Records today, for Pride Month. After working on makeover, her new collection of classic dance remixes from 1992 to 2000, k.d. lang reached out to country artist/songwriter Orville Peck to remix her 1992 hit "Miss Chatelaine." The result "marries his music with my own beautifully," she says. "I wanted to give him total creative freedom to do whatever he wanted with it and now I’m thrilled with the end result." "I've always been such a huge fan of k.d.'s," Peck says. "Not only is she a queer icon but an incredible musician who blazed a lot of trails. I was so honored when she asked me to remix the song and couldn't wait to put my own spin on it."

Jeremy Denk’s Mozart Piano Concertos will be released September 17 on Nonesuch Records. Denk is joined by The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra for two Mozart concertos—No. 25 in C Major, K. 503 and No. 20 in D minor, K. 466—bookending the composer’s solo Rondo in A minor, K. 511. The second movement from K. 466, the Romance, is available now.
