    The Magnetic Fields will tour the US next spring following a four-city tour of Latin America this December. The band closes out 2022 with concerts in Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, and Argentina. The spring run of US shows starts with two nights in Denver, March 17 and 18, followed by dates in Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Austin, St. Louis (two nights), Cleveland, and Pittsburgh (two nights), culminating at City Winery Hudson Valley on April 3.

    Hurray for the Riff Raff will join Bright Eyes as special guest on six shows of their North American fall tour. After having toured together earlier this year, they reunite in November for shows in Illinois, Michigan, Toronto, Montreal, Providence, and at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn. Hurray for the Riff Raff also performs at Moonstone Fest in Birmingham this month and NPR Music’s 15th anniversary celebration at the 9:30 Club in DC in November.

    Cécile McLorin Salvant’s concert at Salle Poirel in Nancy, France, for the Nancy Jazz Pulsations festival was broadcast live via ARTE. She was joined by guitarist Marvin Sewell, bassist Paul Sikivie, and percussionist Keita Ogawa—all of whom perform on her Nonesuch debut album, Ghost Song—and pianist Glenn Zaleski. Devendra Banhart is in Kyoto, Japan. Jeremy Denk and Tigran Hamasyan each give solo piano recitals—in Carmel, CA, and Florence, Italy, respectively.

    Michelle Branch's fourth solo album, The Trouble With Fever, is out now. Also out today is the video for the album's second single, "Not My Lover," directed by Alexa Stone and Stephen Kinigopoulos at a local karaoke bar in Nashville. You can watch it here. "This song is about the mistakes we make and trying to learn from them instead of letting them burn you down,” Branch says. "You have the power to change your own narrative." Branch's tour began in Boston last night and continues in Philadelphia, NYC, DC, Chicago, San Francisco, and LA. Her sold-out show at the Troubadour in LA September 27 will stream live.
