Boyhood has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards: Best Motion Picture, Drama; Best Director and Best Screenplay for Richard Linklater; Best Supporting Actress for Patricia Arquette; and Best Supporting Actor for Ethan Hawke. Joaquin Phoenix is up for Best Actor, Comedy or Musical, for Paul Thomas Anderson's Inherent Vice, and Patti Smith and Lenny Kaye's song "Mercy Is," from Darren Aronofsky's Noah, is up for Best Original Song. All three films' soundtracks are on Nonesuch Records.

But you don't need to wait till then to hear music from the new album: two songs, "Entertain Me" and "The Apple Orchard in Saghmosavanq," are now streaming here. The tracks are available to download with pre-orders of the album at iTunes and in the Nonesuch Store. Mockroot features Hamasyan on piano, voice, keyboards, synths and sound effects, Sam Minaie on electric bass, and Arthur Hnatek on drums and live electronics. The album comprises new tracks written by Hamasyan, as well as his arrangements of traditional Armenian songs.

Boston Society of Film Critics also named Boyhood Best Picture, Best Director for Linklater, Best Editor for Adair, and Best Ensemble Cast, and awarded Inherent Vice for Best Use of Music in a Film. The New York Film Critics Online named Boyhood Best Picture, Best Director for Linklater, and Best Supporting Actress for Arquette.

"These 50 albums helped define 2014 for us," says NPR. "They are how we'll remember the year. They're the ones we love well enough to share." Plant's album is a "sophisticated yet beautifully grounded and emotional set ... Artists half his age could envy the life still in the old cat." The Sunday Times of London includes the album on its list of the 100 Best Records of the Year.

Boiler Room.tv was there to capture the performance, and interview Greenwood and orchestra members, both of which you can watch here. Greenwood and LCO perform together again in Oxford in February.

Together, these artists' Nonesuch releases have garnered a total of 11 nominations this year. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on "Grammy Sunday," February 8, 2015, in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS.
