Carolina Chocolate Drops’ video for the track “Country Girl,” after rating as one of the most-watched music videos on CMT.com following its premiere last week, will air throughout this week on CMT’s High 5 Countdown. The show airs on CMT at 11 AM ET/PT Monday through Friday, and the video can still be viewed online. “Country Girl” appears on the Grammy-winning band’s new album, Leaving Eden.

Tune in to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight to see Sara Watkins perform "You and Me," off her just-released album, Sun Midnight Sun. The Wrap gives the album glowing marks. "If Levon Helm's passing put you in an Americana mood, but you're not sure younger generations have as much to bring to roots-based music as their elders," writes the Reuters-syndicated site, "proceed directly to the superb sophomore effort by Sara Watkins. Not that Sun Midnight Sun will only be a balm to suffering Band fans; it might be the finest album of the year so far in any genre."

Punch Brothers performed "This Girl," off their new album, Who's Feeling Young Now?, on Later ... with Jools Holland last night on BBC Two. Watch the performance here. Carolina Chocolate Drops, who joined The Chieftains for a performance on Later ... with Jools Holland on BBC Two last Tuesday, were also featured on  Friday's full episode of Later. That show included an encore broadcast of The Chieftains performance as well as a solo performance from the Chocolate Drops of the song "No Man's Mama," off of their new album, Leaving Eden. Carolina Chocolate Drops join The Chieftains as the legendary Irish band marks its 50th anniversary and the UK release of its new album, Voice of Ages, on which Carolina Chocolate Drops perform. The Black Keys were the subject of a feature profile on CBS Sunday Morning. Band mates Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney return to their home town of Akron, Ohio, to take a tour of their old neighborhood, visit with family, take a spot on their high school's Wall of Fame, and discuss their rise to being what the show says "may be the hottest rock band in the country." While headlining Coachella on Friday, they were joined by John Fogerty to honor Levon Helm with a performance of The Band's "The Weight." The Los Angeles Times says "the night belonged to the Black Keys—and to Helm." Watch it here.

The Black Keys, after selling out arenas all throughout the US, Canada, UK, and Europe, announce their long-awaited return to Australia this October. Their new album, El Camino, has already been certified Platinum there. The band made their headlining debut at an unseasonably chilly Coachella festival Friday, helping to "conquer the cold," Reuters reports. MTV says the weather "was no match for the heat of the Black Keys," and the OC Register says their set "was pure bliss." The band joins Anthony Bourdain for some Kansas City BBQ on No Reservations tonight on The Travel Channel.

Punch Brothers were the musical guests on The Late Show with David Letterman last night. The band performed "This Girl," off their new album, Who's Feeling Young Now?. Watch the performance here. Punch Brothers launch the latest leg of their US tour a week from Saturday with a live broadcast performance of A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. The tour includes a stop in Austin for a taping of Austin City Limits and a sold-out show at Antone's and wraps up with a sold-out LA Bluegrass Situation show at Largo. Several summer festival dates follow.

Dr. John, whose new album, Locked Down, is out this week, performed the album track "Revolution" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. He was joined by The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, who produced Locked Down, and the album's band. Watch it here. They premiere more live music from the album at BAM this week as part of Dr. John's residency there. In a feature on Locked Down on NPR's All Things Considered, Tom Moon says: "Incredibly, in the few weeks they spent creating this, Dan Auerbach and Dr. John roused some spirits not heard from since the late 1960s and got them to speak about what it means to be alive and kicking in 2012."

Punch Brothers will be the musical guests on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight, performing "This Girl," off their new album, Who's Feeling Young Now?. They will tape an episode of Austin City Limits on May 1 for future broadcast on the PBS performance show, marking their ACL TV debut. A new Daytrotter session from the band is now available, with three songs from Who's Feeling Young Now? plus a medley pairing songs by Beck and Hazel Dickens.
